Create a Blog on Edublog
1. Go to www.edublogs.org.
2. Click on "SIGN UP HERE". You will be asked for a username and an email account. Your username will be the name of your blog, so be sure it is something that is easy for you to remember. For instance, our username is sdstat21. Therefore our class blog address is http://sdstat21.edublogs.org.
3. Fill out the blog title. This is a title that search engines use to find your blog and provides information on what your blog topic is.
4. Fill out your email address. It is very important that you make sure your address is correct. You will receive your activation and password at this email address.
5. Click to agree to the terms of service. Make sure that "create a blog" is still checked. If you choose "just give me a username," you will be able to post comments on other people's blogs, but you will not have a blog of your own.
6. CHECK YOUR EMAIL! You will receive TWO emails. The first email will contain an activation link. Click on the activation link. Your blog is now activated. Almost there.....
